Award-winning author Dr. Walter B. Curry, Jr. will give a presentation on The Thompson Family: Untold Stories from the Past. He will chronicle the rich history of this prominent African American family from Salley, South Carolina featuring stories of individuals who were enslaved. Books will be available for purchase. Presented in partnership with South Carolina Humanities.
