Dr. Walter Curry, author The Thompson Family: Untold Stories from The Past (1830-1960), residency with eighth grade social studies students explored Dr. Curry's family history through his storytelling & a gallery walk of artifacts and paintings, bringing to life Aiken County's African American history.
